Erik Johnson is versatile in teaching most styles (Jazz, Classical, Rock, etc.) to an advanced level, He prides himself on being a good teacher for beginners. He feels a good foundation of basic technique is often overlooked with beginners. He also applies the fundamentals towards music and songs that each student will find exciting and motivating for weekly practice. His lessons are entirely customized for each student's level, goal, and style of music.
Erik has a Associated of Arts (Music Teaching) from Fullerton College. Erik also has a Bachelor of Music in Studio/Jazz Program from University of Southern California. Erik Johnson has over twenty years of teaching experience, He is also currently playing around the area with Rock Cover Band (The Trip) as Lead Guitar Player
